OMI Award at KCI

For 78 years MCA-KC has recognized the best in mechanical construction. MCA-KC’s recent OMI Awards featured the Rand Construction project completed at KCI Airport. The new Chilled Water Loop at KCI was selected as an Outstanding Mechanical Installation. Congratulations to our client and the entire project team. Thank you MCA-KC!

Design/ Build Wellness Center

Rand Construction recently completed a new Wellness Center addition for the employees of Harley Davidson in Kansas City, MO. It was the goal of the owner to provide these services to their employees onsite. The project was a successful completion of Harley Davidson ongoing commitment to their employees. The project was designed by Tevis Architects. Rand has had the opportunity to serve Harley Davidson in a variety of projects, and we are grateful for their continued business.

Air Lift at 4600 Madison

Air Lift of Replacement Cooling Towers

Rand's Objective: Replace two existing out-dated cooling towers with new Marley NC8405 500 ton cooling towers, as well as replace electrical conduits and the supply piping while reusing the equalizer line and return lines at 4600 Madison in Kansas City, Missouri.

In and around the West Bottoms of Kansas City

Rand Construction's office at 1428 West 9th Street is in the historic West Bottoms of Kansas City. The West Bottoms span both sides of the state lines of Missouri and Kansas. Rand Construction is a member of the Central Industrial District Association (CIDA) and has projects in the CIDA neighborhood in both Missouri and Kansas including the State of Missouri Office Building (top photo) and the Kaw Point Wastewater Treatment Plant (bottom photo).

ECOFEST in Independence, MO

EcoFest is an annual festival for children and adults in and around Independence, Missouri. The festival’s goal is to spread environmental awareness and foster sustainable habits for the users of the city’s utilities and public at-large. There are exhibitors, entertainment, activities and educational fun all with an educational theme. The exhibitors engage the attendees to provide information about the importance of water quality, local watersheds, storm water management and conservation.

Rand project featured in KCBJ

Rand Construction was involved in the addition of a new data center at the Arsalon Technologies headquarters in June 2010, as well as the data center expansion in 2012.
