Flint Creek- Unit 1 Controls Upgrade

This project was Fast Track in which had to be completed during a 6 week power station outage. The scope of work included demolition of the existing lube oil system and installation of a new Hydraulic Power Unit skid for the turbine and boiler feed pump. The scope included thousands of feet of hydraulic stainless steel socket weld tubing, servo valves, stop valves, control valves, trip valves, pressure / temperature / flow transmitters, as well as other ancillary items.

Of the 6 weeks scheduled for this outage, 2 weeks were for testing and commissioning of the unit in which only allowed 4 weeks for constructability.
