Glennwood Hospital

This construction project consisted of a new, from the ground up, stand-alone single story hospital with inpatient, diagnostic imaging, and emergency services. Rand Construction Company performed the complete installation of the Mechanical, Plumbing, and Medical Gas systems along with Temperature Controls and Mechanical and Plumbing Insulation. Our services included the installation of 5- RTU’s w/ equipment screens, Humidifiers, VAV’s, Exhaust Fans, Medical Vacuum Pump, Med Gas Outlets, MG Bottle Storage equipment, MG Wiring, Public and Patient plumbing fixtures, and connections to the Kitchen Equipment.

This was a Fast Track project with very limited storage space onsite. Materials and Equipment deliveries required advanced planning with specific delivery dates and times as not to impede on other trade members and their deliveries. This hospital was constructed within 6 months from the site work to the commissioning of the systems. 3D Modeling (BIM) was performed before the actual start date, thus allowing for pre-install planning and pre-fabrication of all in-wall and overhead systems.
