New research facility at Merck Animal Health. Rand was contracted to install multiple plumbing and mechanical systems using BIM coordination.

BIM was used to coordinate the layout of our system with other trades. This allowed us to install in areas that would be much more difficult using older methods of coordination. One of those coordination challenges was the design and implementation of five chiller arrays to support twenty chillers total. Our experience in BIM allowed us to pre-fabricate most of the system off site to save time on installation.
