Healthcare Facilities
Patient safety and care are paramount objectives in healthcare construction. To achieve these goals, complexity is introduced into the construction process. This complexity requires the understanding and application of unique systems involving medical gas life support systems, balanced pressurized labs, and delivery rooms for patient care and support. Rand’s experience in this area allows us to work inside an active facility without disrupting the delivery of services. We are fully aware of how construction activities can affect patient outcomes and our work processes and methods of procedures minimize negative impacts during construction. Faced with the high potential risks of using an inexperienced contractor who may fail to recognize necessary protocols and work practices, many healthcare operators choose Rand. They recognize that under these types of conditions there is no substitute for experience. The experience and skills possessed by Rand’s project management, office staff, and field staff make Rand Construction distinctively qualified to perform this type of specialized work where patient care is of utmost importance.
Rand Construction has healthcare construction experience and pursues projects ranging from mechanical upgrades and replacements in utility plants to suite renovations, new wing additions, to full ground-up hospital construction projects and Medical Office Buildings. Our constant dedication to continuing education, both by Project Management staff and field personnel, allows us to stay ahead of the most modern techniques and trends. This level of experience and training is vital in providing facilities with the cleanest environment for patient care.
